Business Document Production
Develop skills and understanding of routine and complex business
documents and the conventions used in their production and presentation.
Successful completion of this course will enable delegates to work towards further
qualifications.
This course WILL prepare those who wish to take the OCR Text Production examination at
level 2 (mandatory unit of the Text Processing Certificate or Diploma) as well as the flexibility and value of a self-study course designed to enable delegates to work at their own pace. They receive a personalised workbook to use as a reference guide on completion of the course.
Delegates have the opportunity to gain a widely recognised training Certificate.
Course Content

Including: Keying in a business letter using the correct layout,
keying in a memo and a report, recognising spelling errors and correcting
them, correctly expand abbreviations, changing line spacing within a
document, emphasising text as instructed.

Including: Recognising and interpreting amendment and correction
signs in order to produce correct copy, producing a letter and memo that
include a special mark, locating and incorporating a forward date, keying in a
report with a change of line spacing.

Including: Producing documents from written draft that includes
special marks and continuation pages, recognising and correcting errors of
agreement, transposing text vertically, inserting missing punctuation, locating
and correctly inserting text not included in the written draft, being aware of the
importance of consistency of style in relation to figures.

Including: Keying in a letter, memo and report observing all
instructions, locating and correctly inserting information contained in another
document. Completing the three documents within 1¼ hours. Revision of all topics covered in the course. |
typaz professional
typaz professional is ideal for anyone who uses a computer and wants to
learn how to touch type to save time and effort. This course can be studied
flexibly either in a centre, at home or at work. Perfect for those with busy
schedules. Successful completion of this course will enable delegates to work
towards further qualifications.

Outcomes will vary dependent on the application of the individual, but words

Each workbook lesson repeats the corresponding keyboard lesson content

Using the workbook will give you practice on typing from hard copy text and
will help you get used to typing when presented with more than just one line
of text.
In addition to the material covering the 10 lessons in the typaz course you will

Teeline Shorthand For Beginners
A great course for people who want core skills in a widely recognised shorthand system, including secretaries, students and journalists.
Delegates will learn Shorthand using the Teeline method with a speed of up to 70 wpm
